Why do I bother planning an event over a month ahead of time, around everyone else's schedule, when 80% of said everyone are gonna ditch on me?

There were a few legitimate excuses that I understand, shit happens, but most people just didn't show and didn't say anything.

I think what it boils down to, is that there are quite a few people I'm just done inviting to parties and such, because they consistently say they are coming, and never do.

You guys/girls missed out, that shit was awesome.

This whole "I'm going to dragon whoo hoo! Lets all get excited and make plans! ... Naw fuck it I've changed my mind." Thing is getting real old real fast. Today alone 4 people that I really wanted to hang out with have canceled. And while there may be a few legitimate excuses, I'm pretty much hearing the same thing from everyone:

"Well, I gots no cash" I don't have any fucking money, and I'm going. Not gonna let finances stand in the way of a good time. Maybe I'm irresponsible, maybe I'm cool, who knows. I mostly am low on money because I just spend a fucking ton of cash on booze for several of the aforementioned people in order to further said good times.
Can't afford a hotel room? Come, crash in ours, a little packed but less than 60$ for the entire weekend ain't bad.

"I gots no ride" Really? You know no one else who is going? What about me? You know me? We have 2 vehicles going, neither of which is full.


Grrrr.

I may delete this later, once I've become less pissed, but I doubt that's gonna happen if this trend keeps up.

You know what really pisses me off? People who have no concept of the real world or anything outside their little world they've folded themselves into. People who are two faced. People who pretend to be something else, and say whatever they want in font of you because they think its what you want to hear, truth or not. Maybe they don't realize you're not as dumb as they, and can see right through the bs, or perhaps they've told so many lies they don't even know the truth anymore.
The sad thing is you probably don't even know who you are, you're too dumb to even realize I'm talking about you. It's mildly depressing that someone like you even exists within my perception.
You're nothing, and at this rate you'll never be anything. At least do the rest of us a favor and stop pretending. There just might be a real person in there somewhere.

To the rest of you who are decent human beings, and who I really do like, sorry you had to skim over this crap.
